What Cycle should I sign up for?
Every new student who joins the Fawakaa Dance Company must start with Cycle #1 in the system. No exceptions.
Notes on our Classes
Each class is a hour and a half because we believe that an hour is not enough time to absorb and take in all of the material we will be teaching you.
Also, we want you to have some time to actually dance and practice during each class.
This allows Ulrich and I time to walk around and give you corrections and feedback as you practice dancing with each other.
You do not need a partner to sign up for classes because we rotate partners during class.
It is important to change partners because as you rotate you will experience how different people move differently. Once you learn and understand how to adapt to different people’s energy quickly you will become a better dancer faster.

How to Get to the Fawakaa Dance Studio Using Public Transportation
I recommend you use the map above to get exact directions from your house, or the place you work.
But, here are the directions in case you still need them.
Take the Red Line to Davis Square, then:
Take the 89 Bus (toward Sullivan Station) to Broadway @ Marshall Street. Walk two blocks up to Kenneson Road and turn right.
OR
Take the 88 Bus (toward Lechmere) or the 90 Bus (toward Wellington) to Highland Ave @ Walnut Street. Walk up Walnut Street, left on Walnut Road, right on Kenneson Road.
OR
Walk up College Ave to Powder House Square, Take the 101 Bus (toward Sullivan Station) to Broadway @ Marshall Street. Walk two blocks up to Kenneson Road and turn right.
Take the Green Line to Lechmere, then:
Take the 80 Bus (towards Arlington Center) to Pearl Street @ Walnut Street. Walk up Walnut Street, left on Walnut Road, right on Kenneson Road.
OR
Take the 88 Bus (towards Clarendon Hill) to Highland Ave @ Walnut Street. Walk up Walnut Street, left on Walnut Road, right on Kenneson Road.
Take the Orange Line to Sullivan Station then:
From Sullivan Station: Take the 89 Bus (toward Davis Square) or the 101 Bus (toward Malden Station) to Broadway at Grant Street. Cross over to the other side of Broadway and walk back one block towards Kenneson Road, turn right.
Take the Orange Line to Malden Station, then:
From Malden Station: Take the 101 Bus (toward Sullivan Station) to Broadway @ Marshall Street. Walk two blocks up to Kenneson Road and turn right.
